The SKYSS – Schools Between Sky and Stars project includes a total of 4 transnational in-person training mobilities for teachers, along with 3 online training events. These mobilities are strategically planned to ensure maximum impact and sustainability.
Planned mobilities:
Verrès (Italy - Aosta Valley) – First project year
Hosted by Istituto O. Jacquemet, focused on biophilia and outdoor education.
→ Combined with Service Learning training to optimize costs and logistics.
Konin (Poland) – First project year
Hosted by Przedszkole nr 32, focusing on outdoor education and inclusion.
→ Mobility justified by the host institution's strong experience in outdoor education.
Úbeda (Spain) – Second project year
Hosted by IES Los Cerros, focused on experimenting with the metaverse, coding, 3D printing, and new technologies.
→ Mobility justified by the host institution's strong experience in new technologies.
Bologna (Italy) – Second project year
Hosted by G-LAB SRL, focused on experimenting with educational technologies and Minecraft Edu workshops.
→ It is necessary to conduct experimentation with teachers and provide training for future student use of the virtual environment.
Guiding principles for mobilities:
Mobilities are limited but highly targeted, and connected to the objectives of the Work Packages.
Sustainable travel is encouraged, avoiding flights whenever possible.
A multiplier effect is planned: trained teachers will become trainers in their own schools, ensuring a cascading impact.
Management meetings will be held online or during the mobilities.
Wherever there are savings in mobility costs, and in agreement with the INDIRE audit team, the unused funds will be reinvested to allow more participants to travel—always respecting criteria of cost-efficiency and sustainability.
